Well... I'm in my early fifties and have spent my entire career in the automotive aftermarket in Canada, so I guess you can call me a veteran. I started out with Lincoln, and worked my way through Canadian Trade and NGK. I joined the Castrol Canada team in 1996 as the National Sales Manager and went on to be the General Manager for BP/Castrol in Canada up until 2005 - when Bob MacDonald, Bob Saurette and I began Wakefield.
I’m now back to my roots, and doing what I love most. As VP Sales I have the privilege of managing a talented and experienced group of salespeople, and spending time in front of the people that help make our business successful - our customers.
I have a daughter Erin who lives in Calgary with her husband Ryan, and my son Tyler, who is a territory sales manager for Wakefield, lives in London, Ontario with his wife Kari.
I've been around this group of sales and marketing people for a while, and we are a very close-knit-group that work tremendously well together. It's that trust and respect, along with dedication and hard work, that have been the key reasons for our success. I’m also very proud of the relationships we have built, and the contribution we have made to the growth of many of our customers.
I’m excited about the potential for the Wakefield business model in Canada.
