JANICE LAEVENS Director of Human Resources jlaevens@wakefieldcanada.ca Having joined Wakefield in 2006, I'm still learning about the automotive aftermarket. But as a Human Resources veteran, I'm delighted to work with this dedicated group of professionals who are focused on the customer, and are committed to a work environment of excellence and fun. My previous experience includes large multi-national organizations such as IBM and Ernst & Young, as well as smaller, entrepreneurial organizations - making Wakefield a perfect fit at this stage in my career. Wakefield combines the business and learning expertise of larger corporate environments with the agility and opportunism of smaller environments - the best of both worlds! Human Resources plays an integrated role within Wakefield - ensuring that we are continuously developing the team that will best serve our customers, and continuously recreating the environment where great people will choose to contribute. My husband, Paul, and I live in Unionville, Ontario, where we are continuing to raise 3 children at home (Emily, Daniel, and Samantha), and following the path of our first daughter to leave the nest (Jennifer).
