CHRIS HUGHES
As a new member of the Wakefield Senior Leadership Team, I am delighted to be an integral part of this “Best in Class” company. I have over 25 years of manufacturing and operations experience, having tenders with companies such as BP/Castrol, Molson Canada and Nestle Canada. As an Engineering graduate of Dalhousie University, and then the Technical University of Nova Scotia, I have enjoyed working with people to drive operational excellence in arenas such as supply chain optimization and manufacturing operations. I am considered to have a process oriented and results driven leadership style that develops people to their full potential. A key learning I’ve realized over my years of travel is that people become the foundation to a successful company. Wakefield is that company… the people are highly motivated, intuitive and very customer focused. I see a bright future with the Wakefield organization and I am looking forward to its continued success. Lindsey and I are kept busy raising and coaching our 3 kids (Danielle, Shannon and Nathan), 2 cats (Dip-stick and Tilley), and our dog Tehya. Yes, I do find some time to lace up my skates and swing a golf club. I also enjoy playing squash and working with wood. Chris Hughes |
